After working well, the plugin now will not update, add groups or fetch new events. When pressing update button it gives this notice: WP Meetup: Query was cancelled. Please try again at a later time.
I haven’t changed my meetup API. Does anyone know what’s wrong? Thanks.
I would recommend going ahead and resetting your Meetup API key and then updating it in the WP Meetup Plugin. Let me know if this works out. I’m sorry for the late response, this is our busy season, and I haven’t had much in the way of time to support our plugins. However, if this doesn’t work and you want to expedite the process of fixing the issue, if you could make a temporary admin account and password and send the credentials to firstname.lastname@example.org I could more quickly diagnose the issue.
Thanks Charlie. Sorry this comes at a busy time. I reset the API but nothing has changed. Also, the Events tab lists events as active that go back well over a year, a very long list that takes a long time to load. Doesn’t seem right. Will send temp admin.
Charlie: Just sent new temp admin and password. Hope this works.
Now working. Very happy to have it back. Don’t know what was wrong, but Thank You!
I love your plug-in! Unfortunately I am also having the same problem. It was working perfectly and then it suddenly stopped. I didn’t even touch it, I just noticed my events weren’t updating on our website. I reset the API keys and I have the current version installed. When I go to the “UPDATE EVENTS NOW” button on the dashboard, the message says “WPMeetup: Query was not made…” I will send screen shots to email@example.com.
Thank you in advance for your help. Again….great product! 🙂
